A few months ago we made the decision to reorganize our laundry room because it had gotten outta control, plus we needed to make area for a brand new washer and dryer unit. The biggest job was just obtaining all of the crap out that had accumulated over the past couple of years. Right after that we took out our old washer and dryer (top loaders) and tossed those, then stripped the walls bare from the previous shelving that was falling apart. Then we repainted the walls, put in new flooring and installed our new energy effective washer and dryer units. To finish off our little laundry room remodel, we put in new space effective storage along the partitions and over the washer and dryer as well to maximize storage area. The remodel turned out great, now we have tons of storage area in a relatively small space.
